Terms & Conditions

Preamble

These Terms and Conditions are agreed between Mezkali Corporation, Lda, with registered office at Rua Nossa Senhora da Caridade 952, 4470-255 Cidade da Maia, Porto, Portugal, VAT number PT517608626, hereinafter referred to as “Mezkali”, and any person registering for experiences, workshops, events or related activities, hereinafter referred to as “Participant”.

By registering for a Mezkali experience, workshop or event, Participants fully accept these Terms and Conditions.

Article 1 — Registration

Participation is subject to prior registration and confirmation.

Registration is considered valid only after payment has been successfully received.

For events requiring reservation deposits, the amount and conditions will be clearly indicated during registration.

Mezkali reserves the right to limit registrations according to event capacity.

Article 2 — Payments

All prices are expressed in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes.

Unless otherwise specified, registration becomes confirmed upon payment.

If payment is not completed within the indicated period, the booking may be cancelled automatically.

Article 3 — Cancellation & Refund Policy

Participant cancellations are generally non-refundable.

Exceptions may be considered in duly justified situations and remain subject to Mezkali evaluation.

Mezkali reserves the right to cancel, postpone or adjust programmes due to operational requirements, insufficient registrations, force majeure or unforeseen circumstances.

In these situations, Mezkali may offer:

  • rescheduling;
  • credit for future experiences;
  • partial or full refund when applicable.

Programme schedules and activities may be subject to operational adjustments.

Article 4 — Minimum Age Requirements

Participation is restricted to:

  • participants aged 18 years or older;
  • participants aged 12 years or older when accompanied by an adult responsible for them.

Mezkali reserves the right to request age verification when necessary.

Article 5 — Meeting Point and Punctuality

Participants are requested to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Late arrival may compromise participation and access to certain parts of the experience.

Mezkali cannot guarantee participation for late arrivals and refunds will not be granted due to missed attendance.

Article 6 — Health and Dietary Information

Participation is undertaken under the Participant’s own responsibility.

Participants must communicate in advance:

  • allergies;
  • food intolerances;
  • dietary restrictions;
  • relevant health conditions.

Failure to provide this information exempts Mezkali from liability arising from undisclosed conditions.

Article 7 — Safety and Equipment

Certain experiences may take place within industrial facilities or operational environments.

Participants must comply with all safety instructions and operational regulations.

Closed and comfortable footwear is mandatory.

Whenever required, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided by Mezkali or partners and its use is mandatory.

Mezkali reserves the right to deny participation to anyone refusing to comply with safety procedures.

Article 8 — Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward organisers, staff, partners and other attendees.

Failure to comply with safety instructions or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the activity without refund.

Article 9 — Industrial Privacy and Image Use

In locations involving industrial operations, production processes or proprietary activities, unauthorised photography, filming or recording may be prohibited.

Participants must comply with all restrictions communicated during the event.

Additionally, Mezkali may occasionally capture photographs or video content for communication and promotional purposes.

Participants who do not wish to appear in such content should inform organisers before the event begins.

Article 10 — Personal Data (GDPR)

Personal data collected during registration is used exclusively for:

  • event management;
  • communication regarding participation;
  • invoicing obligations;
  • legal and administrative requirements.

Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where legally required or necessary for event operation.

Data processing complies with applicable European and Portuguese data protection legislation.

Article 11 — Final Provisions

Mezkali reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary.

The applicable version will always be the one available at the time of registration.

Portuguese law applies to these Terms and any dispute shall be subject to the competent courts of Portugal.
